Position Summary:
As a member of the BU Car Audio Aftermarket, Global Product Line Management Team, this position is responsible for product development coordination & management, market research support, as well as product management support to the senior level global product line managers.


Job Responsibilities:
? Product Management – Full ownership of at least one major program and several minor programs
? Define meaningful product DIFFERENTIATION and being very strict in what to choose to leave out of a product spec
? Develop product plans in a manner that is consumer friendly, market realistic, creative and ultimately compelling (i.e. Value proposition focus)
? Knowledge in car audio product category - market trend, competition and technology
? Basic P&L skills. Can develop an ROI business case together with senior GPLM. Good judgment skills in determining the balance of what we specify with what we get in financial return
? Connect well with regional commercial colleagues. Be responsive to their needs and provide information to them that is immediately useful
? Connect well with Program management and engineering teams making sure that the required product concept gets turned into actual detailed product requirement document

? Consumer insight and market Intelligence
? Consolidate consumer intelligence data, consumer trends, retail intelligence data, and competitive landscape
? Deep understanding of category performance from regional level by category down to product level performance tracking through the analysis of internal company data and external data

? Product launch support
? Support GPLM in all marketing activities relating to product development and launch of NPI, including creation and management of product and customer presentations
? Work with the GPLM to drive and manage product sample and launch pack communication with the key regional stakeholders
? Support the organization and hosting of customers visiting the global SBU headquarters in Shenzhen, including presentation materials, logistics and capturing key actions based on customer’s feedback
? Coordinate sample distribution to sales & marketing regions along with launch pack

? Award Submission and Communication
? Drive and manage product submission to the key design and product award committees, including Red Star, Red Dot, IF, CES and EISA and ensure clear communication of status and winners to the organization
Basic Qualifications:
? Product management experience in consumer electronic industry
? Good understanding of car audio aftermarket industry
? Innovator…..Driver of meaningful differentiation
? Good level of technical knowledge (especially in wireless audio and mobile phone technologies)
