What is expected of you
?Extensive Market Research to ensure Best of British is a leader in its field focussing on Media Partners, Association Partners, and Visitor Promotion using a variety of methods including visiting competitor shows.
?Execute registration promotion campaign and be able to provide reports by creating a trackable link / code for exhibitors, sponsors and media partners to use.
?Manage data sources in line with the marketing strategy and find new data for DS that focus on north association,media partner and new data for the hosted buyers programe.
?Work closely with the Marketing Manager on BOB for Social Media to drive more content contribution to WeChat and develop a bi-weekly plan.
?Identify and secure essential media partnerships and other third party promotional partnerships, delivering strategies to maximise their support for your exhibition
?Maintain existing relationship with the embassy partners, communicate with them regularly with regards to marketing strategy, to keep all contact lists updated, and draft future partnership agreements.
?Understanding the existing resources for trade visitor promotion and develop a pre-show promotion plan to increase the number of trade visitors to the show. Maintain relationships through existing channels regarding complimentary tickets and the VIP program and of course new channels to increase exposure and target more core trade visitors.
?Manage the Hosted Buyers Program team to ensure the team are working to the required specifications and be the key liaison between PR and media partners on site to ensure all the relevant partners and buyers attend the show.
?Report to the Marketing Manager and Event Director on a weekly basis to update them on marketing strategy.
?Full management of the event Press Event from beginning to end to ensure these are delivered on time and in budget. Be able to communicate clearly with all suppliers for these events including PR and Media Partners as well as the Infrastructure team and be a link between the BOB and XTD teams. Be able to report back to the Event Director and Managing Director on the events progress and be on site to be the key liaison with all parties.
