职位描述：
Responsibilities:
? Conduct Product Safety Management practices, like Product Safety Assessment, across Carter’s Vendor base to ensure products and processes are compliant to the best practice and process standards expected, reacting quickly to manage any safety concern.
? Implement and support vendor management related to onboarding program and manufacturing capability.
? Coordinate Product Safety representatives in all of Carter’s production facilities, conducting training and auditing on a regular basis to ensure total compliance and managed risk.
? Review product for potential compliance concerns, consult with designers, merchants, product development and sourcing staff on product safety concerns in design and sampling stages.
? Communicate/consult with Product Integrity, Raw Material and Sourcing teams on material/chemical compliance and reporting issues, making recommendations when necessary to address concerns.
? Support the cooperation model with component suppliers in order to standardize the process control in production.
? Coordinate training for cross-functional partners on quality, safety and testing topics.
? Support in conjunction with the Sourcing, Component supplier and vendor for product integrity feedback.
? External communication with testing laboratories and various internal cross-functional partners.
? Provide Project Management support to QA and RM department, support and implementing change as requested by the Senior Manager of Product Integrity.
Requirements:
? A minimum of 3 years as Quality Assurance or Product Safety Management/ relevant experience in garment, kids wear will be highly advantage.
? Bachelor degree with a focus in apparel, textile engineering / Chemistry, or other industry-related field.
? Knowledge of tools and methodologies of QA/QC.
? Experience audit procedures and collaborating with vendors, testing laboratories and third party sourcing agents.
? Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
? Capable of creating and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
? Proficiency in computer skills and reporting of metrics.
? Fluent in English – both spoken and written.
