职位描述：
Fabrics Division is looking for an engineer for our seam sealing function to be part of the R&D team in Shenzhen plant.

As a member of a cross-functional global team, your main responsibility will be to drive or participate seam sealing related activates, like process development, evaluation, consultation and problem solving. As a seam sealing representative, further communicate with R&D peers, application engineers, product specialist, product support, lab and quality to ensure seam sealing solution is delivered to customer. Globally, you will work closely with seam sealing engineers and functional champions in other regions within seam sealing core group, driver or support global projects to meet identified targets, such as capability transfer, problem solving, and test method innovation. Finally, you will have the opportunity to build broad understanding and insights of Gore’s product, process technology and experiencing Gore’s great products in various outdoor application.

Responsibility
? Develop seam sealing window for new products, provide recommendation of sealing settings and processing advice to factories.
? Drive seam sealing evaluation for derivative products. In case of deviations from established processing, provide recommend sealing settings and processing advice to factories.
? Drive/participate in multiple projects through the development of products, with interaction on both a global & AP basis and needed.
? Drive seam sealing related trouble shooting projects/tasks, using Gore project practices, and communicating with quality, product support and product specialist team as appropriate.
? Own process of continuous improvement in your area by developing, writing, implementing, reviewing and improving procedures.
? Able to effectively analyze data using appropriate and relevant statistical methods
? Able to clearly document work in written form and present to diverse groups as appropriate.
? Assume hands on operation (30-40%) E.g. create samples, use sewing, sealing and test equipment and follow test established procedures and standards.

Qualifications
Must:
? Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering or chemistry discipline.
? 2-3 years’ experience in a multi-national technology company on test performing and development.
? Experience in driving/participating projects. Demonstrated effective execution, understanding of business objectives and align with project concept.
? Track record of independent trouble shooting technically and complex problems, identify failure mode, determining root cause and propose practical solutions.
? Demonstrated ability to understand technical uncertainties.
? Ability to communicate technical complex topics in both English and Mandarin (Written and Verbal) clearly.
? Data Analysis. Demonstrated basic understanding of statistics, and example of reaching conclusions within the context of supporting data.

Desired:
? Seam sealing related working experience.
? Experience with statistical tools like “Design of Experiment”.
