Your Responsibilities
o Responsible for LED development with suppliers for BG LED’s business needs. Both short term LED component release for launch as well as middle long term technology and platform roadmap.
o Lead in defining the LED strategy and align with R&D and Procurement on program and projects. Organize R&D budget and resources to ensure program and project execution.
o Ensure synergy between businesses of LED Lamps and LED Electronics, to maximize the leverage of platform and technology.
o Continuously improve the way of working and collaboration between LED development team with cross-functional project team (NPI) to ensure fast time to market with right quality and low cost.
o Setup, steer and review relevant technology programs with research and external partners.
o Build up strong LED competence in the team as well as internal and external networks. Generate new idea and IP/IPR.
o Coach people for growth and manage performance when needed.

We are looking for
o Professional in Semiconductor and LED industrial, deep knowhow on LED design, material, process, and cost models. 5+ years of practical experience.
o Familiar with LED supplier base, especial in Asia and China.
o Strong communication skill and able to handle culture difference.
o Strong in stakeholder management.
o Strong execution and ability of driving for result.
o Ability to work under stress and ambiguity.
o Able to frequently travel to China (25%-30%).
