Position Summary:

Manages the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Directs the following activities: establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem. Manages the development and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop test plan, review test cases and test report.
Develop test processes, procedures and equipment to meet production and quality goals.
Oversee test software and diagnostic coverage plans to adequately test products in adherence with test architecture and coverage goals.
Develop test engineering technical skillsets in terms of hardware, software and product knowledge with the goal of creating test experts.
Ensure the team is implementing test processes and equipment in concert with the test strategies.
Coach and develop team members and provide career path direction.
Assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
Responsible for performance management, and establishing and executing against actionable and measurable team goals.
Collaborate and influence cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions, drive best practices and standards, and report on quality metrics.
Create a team that operates within and is consistent with Radisys culture.
Interface with stakeholders in NPI, SW/HW, and global Production to ensure completion of test projects on time and budget.
Responsible for managing lab assets.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Software and Hardware background a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with managing test engineering activities and people through all phases of product maturity.
Stable and Progressive career history.
Have worked in an electronics manufacturing / integration environment with a solid track record of experience.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently and as part of a team following established guidelines
Proven solid analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with peers, management and staff, and internal/external business partners/customers. Must be proficient in both Mandarin and English.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
