Job Description:
 Location: Work in Noida, India for an year
o The role encompasses considerations from hardware designer to the components that are constantly upgraded in new generations of phones and it’s important to consider how to balance the demands you place on this hardware. If you take advantage of latest generation technology; you rule out many existing smartphone owners from using your product. Go back too far in generations and you risk releasing a product which isn’t as powerful as your competitor’s. Ability to balance the need is there to serve the customers at bottom of pyramid.
o Brainstorming with Product manager (Smartphones & Accessories) to establish the design brief, including the concept and production criteria.
o Drive Design work in cooperation with mechanical and software engineers to ensure high performance and quality of designed board
o Enable research on hardware design trends and alignment with strategic vendors.
o Support product managers, decision makers and influencers through coaching, training, and escalation management.
o Align with Lava Brand strategy

Desired Skills and Competencies
· Design Tool-savvy (e.g. working with Mentor Graphics PADS)
· Familiarity with Flex and Multiple layer designs
· Board design competencies for high frequency signals and signal integrity
· Component Placement and Design
· RF block design
· Test board design
· Design for board assembly and manufacturing
· Manufacturing documentation
          Board manufacturing and assembly support
Scandinavian countries,
Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean (English comfortability)
