职位描述：
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:

? Understand market trend based on marketing intelligence
? Formulate and design product system architecture and detailed product specifications based on market intelligence (provided by US Sales team/ Aaron/ Matt/ Stevie)
? Innovation of new concepts, designs, and novel new products, which may include the use of new and improved processes and new technologies
? Formulate a detailed BOM and strike a balance between cost saving and project quality
? Solve technical problems with internal teams / vendors
? Participate in cross-functional project teams to develop or improve new or current products
? Initiate and develop a practical and innovative engineering processes
? Provide technical support to the project teams and other teams in need
? Responsible for overseeing all aspects from R&D to handover
? Lead the preparation of technical and contract documentation for the projects assigned
? Lead projects with value engineering and financial control
? Develop planning and prioritize processes to ensure that multi-disciplinary resources are well aligned to maximize delivery of products
? Ensure any new equipment or engineering activity is supported with appropriate qualification documentation and that this is appropriately stored.
? Ensure that up to date drawings are maintained appropriately
? Work with Marketing Department on product development, market opportunities and trends
? Coordinate with venders to ensure manufacturability of product while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards and achieving cost targets in a timely fashion
? Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution
? Report on engineering activities regularly to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators
? Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, engineering and quality standards and procedures are adhered to
? Establish quality and reliability standards by studying industry benchmarks and the requirements of customers and research/design and development, and define the metrics required to assess performance against standards required
? Undertake other tasks assigned by Line Manager

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The position needs to station in Dongguan office.
Occasional local business trips are required

REQUIREMENTS:

? Educated to degree level in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
? At least 10 years engineering experience which 5+ years are in managerial role
? At least 5+ years are in same product category development.
? Demonstrable experience of leading an engineering function (preferably in similar category) with a proven track record in engineering leadership, completing effective engineering projects, R&D processes and supplier management
? Experience of operating and influencing as a project manager
? Ability to add value, reduce costs and make product improvements
? Familiar with US & European market and safety requirements
? Ability to resolve issues from manufacturing and support failure analysis
? Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
? Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with good command in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
? Pro-active, hunger for success, organized and self-motivated
? Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
