Supply Chain Specialist
- Monitor ocean and air freight forwarders performance to ensure compliance with SOP and shipping guidelines.
- Work with shipping lines to ensure contract freight applied and capacity demands fulfilled.
- Prepare accurate reporting on key metrics from forwarders, handle daily logistics operation and incompliances.
- Analyze discrepancy between shipment plan and PO schedule, investigate reasons and co-work with vendor management team.
- Support logistics business plan and projects, like shipment forecasting, buyer’s consolidation, etc.
- Think and find solution with 3rd party, GPC global logistics to support priority or emergency project.
- Support manager to optimize resources to ensure level of service.
- Collect market intelligence through multiple channels and works with relevant stakeholders on contingency plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum University degree holder and Supply Chain & Logistics major is preferable
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain.
- Solid background on international logistics, shipping operation.
- General knowledge on international trading.
- High self-motivation and result orientation.
- Strong analyzing skills, computer skills, effective communication skills in conflict management.
