Quality Control Manager

A successful Optical Frame Company operating a factory in Shenzhen is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill a Quality Control Manager position. Role and Responsibilities:

Quality Control Manager will fill a key role on the QC team ensuring customer specifications and requirements are met on a daily basis

Responsibilities will include:
1. Ensure quality and process standards meet client specifications
2. Document control and coordinating departmental meetings.
3. Effectively communicate quality expectations to team members and stakeholders
4. Monitor progress of projects, identify problems impeding progress, and participate in their resolution
5. Prepare reports, updates and feedback to Management and Departments.
6. Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting senior leadership with meeting productivity and quality goals
7. Compile and complete detailed reports on all product inspections, defects, repairs and other immediate corrective actions
8. Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance and surveillance audits; investigate customer complaints; collaborate with other team members
9.Coordinate flow of goods through inspection process to final disposition
10.Effectively communicate with departmental leaders to allow for efficient and accurate movement of merchandise throughout all QC-based initiatives
11. Ensure all product are checked, qualified and labeled appropriately from vendor for compliance
Identify and manage all issues and follow through to resolution
12.Communicate QC initiatives and alerts to interdepartmental teams and gather related feedback
13.Maintain effective communications and relationships with network team as well as onsite leadership, to include reports, photos, and various presentation as necessary.
14. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising and coaching associates

REQUIREMENTS

1. Associates degree or above in Business Administration, Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related field and/or relevant experience required.
2. At least 5-8 years of Factory Quality Assurance/Control experience
3. Working knowledge of optical frame, jeweler or watch is highly preferable.
4. Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
5. Exceptional attention to detail
6. Ability to communicate with all levels of management, including our cross-functional teams.
7. Understanding and ability to deliver high level customer service
8. Capacity of holding team members accountable for all job requirements and tasks
9. Strong written, verbal and oral communications skills
10. Candidates should be self-starting, motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as a team
11.Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs, priorities and processes
12. Excellent time management and organizational skills
 13. Station in PRC Shenzhen
14. Immediate available is highly preferable
