The Job
The Product Development developer - Footwear is a pivotal role in our business, working to develop footwear and work within your product development team to assist and continuing to improve strong excellent developed products and processes to drive growth, increase volumes and maximise profits. You will work as a key member of the team to develop world class product which exceeds expectations with regard to innovation, design, you will be responsible for driving the development of product within the factory; managing the product lifecycle through from 2D designs to salesman samples and will be responsible for transforming product from a design to a commercially successful product, under the leadership of the Asia PD Manager.

The Person
The ideal person for this role is a hands-on individual who loves getting into the nitty-gritty with the team and colleagues. You will be an excellent contributing team member, who can build great relationships across the business and vendors to ensure commercial and creative success. Key to this role will be the ability to set priorities, achieve timelines, provide consistency, and make clear and well-reasoned decisions (with your manager) which help drive the achievement of the business’s strategic objectives. In addition, it’s important that you possess strong technical footwear experience; ideally with rubber / vulcanisation experience.

You will be required to work across all collections. You will need to have a strong understanding of developing innovative product, emerging materials and cutting edge techniques. You will be proactive in getting things done to required timelines, and making things happen, evaluating yourself taking positive action as required whilst displaying a constant ability to build solid relationships within the team and wider organisation. You will have a positive attitude to embracing ‘the new’ openly contributing to new processes.
