职位描述：
The Application Specialist will be reporting directly to the Product Manager in California but will work closely with the Asia Director of Sales. The applicant will need to have strong technical ability, English communication skill and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Position is based in the Shanghai, China office and requires up to 50% overnight travel.


Responsibilities:
？ Perform application testing in the lab to demonstrate our products capabilities to the customers
？ Generate application test reports in both Mandarin and English
？ Provide ongoing support to the regional sales manager to retain key accounts in Asia
？ Provide customer on-site supports and demos. Ensure demonstrations are positive, effective, and all visits are thoroughly planned for maximum benefit
？ Work closely with the regional sales manager on potential key accounts to attain corporate approval / AVL status
？ Work closely with adhesives formulators and distributors to develop qualified material data base for best-selling adhesives
？ Support local trade shows and become involved with regional industry associations
？ Provide product training to the sales team and channel partners in Asia
？ Assist with product introduction (Alpha, Beta & channel training) at a regional level
？ Generate monthly report
？ At all times work professionally and within company guidelines to maximize customer satisfaction, exceeding expectations where ever possible

Ideal Candidate Profile:
？ Must be fluent verbal and written Mandarin
？ Fluent verbal and written English to communicate back with English speaking manager
？ Degree or equivalent preferred with experience on both the distribution and manufacturing sides of the business
？ Some type of sales and lab testing experience is preferred.
？ Responsive, confident problem solver and action oriented
？ Able to effectively priority work and meet commitments
？ Ability to evaluate the market and give direction to Product Management
？ Must be able to meet deadlines, be well organized, and exercise sound judgment concerning distribution and key accounts.
？ Computer skills familiar with Microsoft Windows Environments for reporting purposes, Power Point presentations, pricing and data management
