This top level position is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all the international sales and marketing strategies of an established mobile handset brand. Overseas development and implementation of support materials and services to ensure sales growth of the brand. Directs the efforts of the sales & marketing strategies and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organization.
The ideal candidate is expected to be a team player with a “hands on” approach to the management of his / her team. This position requires a solution based thinker who can react quickly but with due consideration to sales opportunities or to solve customer needs. The candidate will be expected to spend significant time in the international markets with extensive international travel.
Primary relationships:
1.The position reports to the Executive Management of the company and serves as a core member of the organization.
2.This position participates with the Board of Directors, Executive Director and other management staff in charting the direction of the Organization, assuring its accountability to all constituencies, and ensuring its effective operation.
Job Description / Responsibility:
1. Develop long and short range sales strategies, Identify key future market opportunities by geography, segment and product. Partner with related team to set up action plans and implement actions.
2. Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment, market insights and consumer trends / needs. Maintains and constantly improves the organization's competitive position by creating and maintaining the value proposition as per customer needs.
3. Understand the market and technological dynamics of mobile handset industry and act accordingly in plan and strategy formulation.
4. Improve representatives and agency structure and performance across all market segments in overseas level.
5. Work closely with all business partners and ensure business support for them.
6. Set and achieve Segment targets/budgets in line with the organizational strategy maintaining annual profitability targets within the segment and geographical location.
7. Negotiate sales contracts with customers and ensure profitability of both party / stakeholders.
8. Setting up meetings with prospective clients to sell the company’s products.
9. Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks.
10. Guide and direct to manage the international sales team and execute large export projects and export project management.
11. Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, applicable laws and as per guidance of Head Quarter, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor or Master’s or college degree and above majoring in marketing, public relations, economy etc.
Experience Requirements:
1. Minimum 10 / 12 years of experience in selling custom-engineered and manufactured products in electronics industry in oversea or international level (experience in selling mobile handset would be preferred).
2. Proven track record of success in senior overseas sales roles specially generating new business and achieving revenue targets of new business.
Additional Job Requirements:
1. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the planning, design and execution of international sales, marketing and communications.
2. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
3. Strong leadership capabilities especially drive & initiatives, team influencing & decision making skill and emergency response ability to develop new markets.
4. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
6. Excellent English communication both Speaking, Reading, Listening and writing.
7. Excellent computer knowledge in Microsoft office.
8. The position is open for both *** and *** but the age must be above 30.
Compensation:
We provides standard or above industry average monthly remuneration package, bonus and commission.
