Responsibilities:

• Research fashion trend direction – constantly staying up-to-date on what is happening in the market relevant to our customers
• Designing Mens/Womens/Kids fashion from technical sketch through to tech pack
• Assembling tech packs and working closely with sampling team & factory for timely sample execution
• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by immediate supervisor
• Organize and manage samples, sample closet, fabric boards and presentation tools
• Assist in preparations of seasonal design presentations to customers
• General organization of design area & supply ordering
• Setting and maintaining sample showroom for customer meetings

Requirements:

• Degree holder in fashion design, textile or relevant disciplines.
• 3-5 years experiences in designing and developing mens and/or ladies apparel
• Hands-on experience designing and sampling multiple product categories a plus (i.e. wovens, knits, active, denim, etc.)
• Good market sense and trend awareness with an elevated taste level, experience with US market a plus – ability to apply this market research to day to day projects
• General knowledge in fabrication and trims
• Creative and skilled in fashion design
• Very organized & good communication skills – able to collaborate with multiple departments to achieve company objectives
• Enthusiastic and ambitious team player who is proactive in problem solving
• Proficient in Adobe AI, Photoshop and MS office applications
• General to advanced understanding of garment construction and specs
• Proficient in computer sketching, creating tech packs and sample development tracking
• Good command of spoken and written English; fluent in Mandarin
