The Low Power Audio & Actuators product line is hiring an audio applications engineer to support its low power audio Smart Amp products. This support is inclusive of developing software drivers as part of new product releases, debugging customer driver code and analog hardware, layout review, EVM development (software and hardware), applications notes and training materials. There will be considerable interactions directly with customers, the TI field sales and applications team, and other functions within the product line (design, algorithms, systems, and marketing.) Key responsibilities include: ? Embedded development and support of the integrated DSP architecture o ALSA Linux driver development o Creating Android applications o Supporting Qualcomm and MTK platform for driver integration o Upstreaming/maintaining GIT ? Answering customer questions and supporting design-in activities for released products. This includes: o Forum and email questions from customers o Schematic and Layout Review of customer application o Debug of customer problems by re-creating issues in our evaluation boards and/or customer boards o On-site support for customer board as required ? Designing EVM and internal evaluation boards to support correlation and evaluation activities of new products ? Creation of user guides, test procedures and proper release of EVM boards for customer consumption ? Participating in datasheet review to ensure completeness of datasheet being developed by the Systems Engineer ? Participating in new silicon testing from an application perspective to ensure robustness of the product (i.e. destructive testing) ? Working with systems engineer to provide support to early design in activities for new products ? Writing application notes that explain different use cases, implementation and/or flexibility of our products To be considered for this position, please apply to this requisition.
