Essential Functions of the Job:
? Lead Compensation and Benefits projects.
? Partner with US Total Rewards Team to support projects implementation and provide training and recommendation to Hub HR and HRBP.
? Responsible for C&B/ HR issues for assigned entities.
? Manage and maintain compensation and benefits procedures, keeping policy and programs in compliance with Corporate guidelines and GS strategic requirements.
? Lead C&B surveys for GS and data analytic in order to determine company’s competitive position.
? Overview Total Rewards schemes and practices
? Keep abreast of various development and interpreting implications of the local legislation that may affect GS
? Provide administrative, technical support including compensation and benefit administration and other ad hoc Human Resource projects in accordance with the Company’s People policies.
? Oversee monthly payroll procedure of East Region.
? Build a trust relationship with different departments
Specific Duties and Accountabilities of the Job:
? Lead compensation and benefits projects
? Review and plan total rewards review for Asia Region Hubs, excluding China.
? Partner with US team for annual merit increase, MIP, LTI or other additional programs
? Model compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans.
? Educate and provide consulting service to customers in the application of information and best practices, supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
? Ensure timely and accurate various implementation successfully
? Lead analysis for C&B market trend to ensure compliance, and provide recommendation;
? Review salary proposals of Asia Region offices in compliance with Corporate HR guidelines
? Conduct salary proposal for Directors and above
? Contribute to the development of compensation policies and procedures by identifying ways to improve projects controls and processes;
? Simplify HR process to reduce manual work.
? Oversee and support International Transfer within Walmart
? Third Party Vendor Management.
? Facilitate necessary training to the team. Ensure the teammates are proficient at their responsibilities. Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:
? Thorough understanding of C&B concepts and principles
? Strong working knowledge of HR
? Good communication skill in both written and spoken English and local language
? Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
? Project management skills
? Mature, approachable, and excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
? Good with analytical numbers, detail oriented
? Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to changes and cultural differences
? Establish an environment of ethics and compliance
? Developing and maintaining collaborative and cooperative relationships
? Apply cultural sensitivity to understand key cultural differences and communication barriers when interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds and language
? Understand the parts of the business and their interrelationships.
