R&D Test manager
Position Reports to: R&D Director
Function/Department: R&D
Location of position: Shenzhen, China
POSITION SUMMARY
Lead and manage a test development engineer team and be responsible for test development
strategy, test methodology, test instrumentation, test jig and Fixture development, Test Integration
for new product development.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of Test engineers to support product development and R&D activities
2. Define test concept/functionality and test strategy by working with Engineering &
Manufacturing.
3. Supervise the development test work from conceptual phase into release.
4. Conduct business and progress review to ensure key deliverables on track.
5. Interface with PLM, Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers and vendors to align on test
specifications properly defined.
6. Drive Test capital efficiency projects by working with Manufacturing and Engineering
7. Manage development cost and budget in line with business objectives.
8. Ensure right documentation and process in place and follow
Job Requirements:
1. Hand-on experiences in fiber optics product development or fiber optics system development
2. Proven business skills able to strategize product development
3. Demonstrated people management and leadership skills
4. Solid engineering tools and applications: FMEA, PSDM, Statistics, FA.
5. Systematic approach and hand-on executing skills to deliver results
Qualifications:
1. Min Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
2. Min 3 years working experiences with fiber optic or related industry. 2 years must be in R&D
function working on test development as a team leader or relevant experience.
3. Proven track record of successful Test development experiences in both Software and Hardware
4. Hands-on experiences of people management skills with more than 5 engineers reporting. 举报 分享
