The Sales Representative will be responsible for revenue generating from a geographically assigned sales territory (or business portfolio), by serving and retaining existing customers and targeting new business opportunities. He/she will also manage business development with existing and targeting merchants in South China.
The person we are looking must possess sales skills and business development skills, in addition to key account management.
This role will challenge the successful candidate, but not limited to:
1. Develop and manage a portfolio of customers and potential customers via personal sales visits, using face to face contact to provide a ‘personal service’;
2. Develop an Annual customer call cycle (Planned and Unplanned Maintenance) to secure committed orders with new and existing customers and gain any competitor held businesses to ensure that individual agreed targets are achieved. This call cycle is to be created annually, reviewed quarterly and updated on a monthly basis;
3. Build a strong client relationship to ensure that the account performs and grows to its maximum potential, reducing attrition rate and minimizing opportunities for competitors to gain business;
4. Conversion of qualified leads into customers (First Time Buyers) and develops and penetrates existing accounts (Customer Retention and Customer Development);
5. Formulate a personal sales plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects and maximises growth within the existing customer base;
6. Analyse and monitor customer data to measure success and identify fluctuations/trends so as to decide on the relevant actions to be taken;
Desired Skills/Experience
1. Minimum 5 years sales experiences in logistics, services or eCommerce industry;
2. Proven track record in winning new business;
3. B2C eCommerce sales & marketing experience an advantage;
4. 70% of sales time spent in new customer acquisition.
