Area Sales Manager South China:
? Senior Role in a rapidly expanding business
? Attractive Salary Package

A leading Food trading company is looking for an experienced area sales manager or up and coming field sales manager for their South China Operations
You will spend a substantial amount of time in the field, with a strong focus in the development of people and key customer groups; this role is responsible for driving a dynamic and motivated sales team, with a 'Best in Class' culture across the food industry in South China. The role will require the superior execution of account activity, marketing programs and in field sales strategies. Further, you will be responsible for the implementation of growth and best practice processes developed for both in-field sales and new business performance.
The achievement of sales targets, which include volume, revenue, and the identification of new business opportunities, is fundamental to the role and will be directly reflected in the success of your sales team.
Responsibilities:
? Ability to gain and maintain rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
? Preserve and grow knowledge on existing products, competitors' products and general market information
? Responsible for a team of sales executives and supervisors
? Punctual and clear reporting directly to the Mainland China Sales Manager
? Ensure development of careers, succession plans, development and coaching of direct reports for the South China team
? Total management and motivation of Field Sales teams within the area
? Managing existing large key accounts and developing new business
? Grow the profitability of the Region and gain a larger percentage of the market share
? Organise regular marketing events to gain market exposure and increase brand awareness
Requirements:
? 2+ years' experience in a sales environment within the FMCG industry, selling to both large distributors and smaller retailers
? Experience in the FMCG
? Team management experience
? Demonstrated understanding of sales strategy and problem solving capabilities
? Ensure achievements of agreed targets/KPI's for the state
? Existing extensive knowledge of the market and established contacts
? Very strong Sales record
? Very good language command of both English and Mandarin
