Job Title

Procurement Sourcing Specialist, MME Greater China

Job Description

Support day-to-day operation of PSSC teams related to particular tool / system, main tasks are to deal effectively with incoming requests and to secure all problems related to corresponding tool or process are being properly handled (either solved or addressed to other support function)

Consults right people to make even more effective decision

Understands how own work contributes to the whole process

Performs independently day-to-day operation related to particular Philips application or process.

Actively supports Philips projects/central initiatives

Makes decisions within own KAR's

Takes full responsibility for consequences of own decisions

Escalates issues in the right moment

Suggest and considers alternative solutions to problems

Performs and manages operations within area of responsibility requiring expertise and extra attention (including specific sourcing activities)

Leads/ actively supports Philips projects / central initiatives (including sourcing projects)

Makes right decisions, even if not all data is available

Set clear boundaries/responsibilities for decision making in meetings/project

Able to foresee consequences of the decisions

Handle escalations related to area of operations

Manages specific areas of operations or teams within PSSC

Delivers results through projects in scope (including sourcing projects)

Makes right decisions in difficult situations, when time is critical

Takes charge of a group to overcome difficulties, face issues and ensure that decisions are made

Actively offers support to others to achieve the team/project goals

Responsible for supplier evaluation and management within the assigned scope during NPDL phase

Responsible for execution of the commodity strategy

Responsible for gathering relevant benchmark data, supply market intelligence

Responsible for supplier scouting , selection in NPDL phase

Responsible for early supplier involvement

Perform supplier negotiations in NPDL

Lead tender generation and review process for the assigned scope in the NPDL phase .

Ensures that all Supplier related risks are controlled and mitigated.

Responsible for reviewing the compliance of the suppliers in the assigned scope regarding the Supplier quality, Supplier Sustainability and Supplier Development KPI's.
