Responsibilities & Qualifications
? Support the global Sales and Operating Planning(S&OP) process by ensuring an efficient, effective and reliable demand review for their assigned territory and product line on a monthly basis.
? Partner with the assigned territory sales organization and global product management team to develop an accurate and detailed consensus forecast, including facilitating formal monthly demand review meetings.
? Partner with the sales organization, global product management team and Finance team in the quarterly commit sales forecasting process, and annual sales budgeting process.
? Act as a liaison between sales and marketing, supply chain and finance during the global S&OP process.
? Provide monthly product mix forecasts to the operations and supply chain teams highlighting upside opportunities and downside risks.
? Monitor demand plan versus actual results on a monthly basis (monitoring forecast accuracies and providing detailed input into operations) – hold key contributors accountable (product management, sales, operations)
? Assist in negotiating solutions with customers, sales, and materials planning to balance supply with demand & establish more reliable information streams from customers to TE Sensor Solutions.
? Partner with sales, product management and marketing in the analysis and establishment of market-competitive target delivery lead-times.
? Work with sales, product management, supply chain and materials planning to establish appropriate stocking strategies, and support TESS team in planning for negotiation of customer stocking agreements, to ensure customer and market demands for product delivery lead-times are achieved.
? Assist in allocation and balancing demand when supply is constrained.
? Provide inputs to the supply planning organization for new product launches and production migrations (move of manufacturing capacity from one plant to another).
? Consistent and predictable attendance.
? Understanding of and compliance with all TE policies, rules and regulations.

Key Tasks:
? Gather, analyze, validate and translate information from customers, channel partners, sales and product management to establish a customer/part number level forecast.
? Lead the monthly S&OP pre-demand consensus meeting for assigned territory and product type assignments, with product and sales management. Work out consensus forecast.
? Prepare forecast accuracy measurements, analyze differences and implement or recommend improvements.
? Collect, evaluate and interpret data using statistical and probability analyses.
? Collect and analyze customer, competitor and industry trend data from internal (sales team, channel sales team, product management, industry marketing (IHS, etc.) and other external sources
? Understand key customer programs, TESS content in customer programs, etc.
? Understand assigned sales territory and product family – strategies, market share, key customers, sales channel, etc.
? Drive continuous improvement on processes and methodologies for collecting information and predicting demand.
? Communicating to gain alignment. Delivering high quality, clear, concise oral and written presentations to convey information to SOP team and stakeholders.
? Identify potential upside opportunities and downside risks, and work with S&OP team to develop action plan, secure resources and execute.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in related field, such as finance, marketing, business administration, supply chain, operations management or industrial engineering required. APICS or other certification preferred.
? Supply chain experience to include 3-5 years’ experience in S&OP or demand planning.
? Excellent analytical and advanced computer skills, with ability to mine data and derive critical and salient information from diverse inputs.
? Excellent communication skills (clear, concise oral and written presentations) and interpersonal skills.
? Effective negotiation and influencing skills, capable of being unbiased and fair in achieving compromise solutions and consensus positions.
? Experience in TE Sensor Solutions ERP and demand management and analytical systems and tools (JDA/Xelus/SAP/TED etc.) preferred.
? Fluent in English necessary, and fluency in Chinese an advantage.
? Project management and problem-solving skills.
? Quick learner, capable of adapting to new systems and developing and continuously improving processes.
? Flexibility to work in an international environment, and willing to travel abroad periodically (short time periods).
