Role Summary:
The individual is responsible for the implementation and execution of sourcing for one of the following categories:
? TV plus: ExB TVs, Monitors and Connected Home products (inclusive of the critical product component relationships, i.e. TV panels);
? Appliance plus: ExB Appliances, TV Mounts, Furniture, Home Theatre Accessories (non-cable) and DI accessories products (inclusive of the critical product component relationships);
? Mobile plus: ExB Mobile Hardware, Mobile Accessories, Computing, Gaming, and Home Theatre Accessories (cable) and A/V Hardware (inclusive of the critical product component relationships).
The individual in this role would reside in one of ExB Asia offices and, therefore, would benefit greatly from knowing the Asia Region and the industry connections there. This individual should also be fluent in Mandarin and must be knowledgeable of related industries, retail stores operating model, retail assortment strategy and private label sourcing strategy. This position will be a key leader for ExB sourcing in Asia for the assigned product categories and a key member of the ExB Global Sourcing leadership team. In addition, the role will need to collaborate and partner closely with Global ExB cross-functional teams and the global retail footprint in North America.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Sourcing Strategy - Asia (50%)
? Determine near and long-term objectives of sourcing strategy with the factories/ vendors in Asia for ExB products.
? Direct teams in identifying vendors, vendor selection, score carding, product development and commercialization process.
? Translate current global ExB strategy to vendor base and execute in a consistent manner with the Best Buy Stores operating model, solution focus and the customer service model.
? Collaborate with key partners in the global BBY team to develop a global sourcing strategy that fits all operating models. Communicate and identify gaps and develop recommendations to eliminate these gaps.
? Collaborate with cross functional teams in Product Management, Engineering/ QA/QC to develop the vendor base needed to deliver quality Best Buy products that meet or exceed international standards.
? Review sourcing strategy with global ExB Leadership team to ensure strategy is in-line with company level strategy
? Collect and distribute essential market insights to BBY internal partners in a regular basis.
2) Vendor Portfolio Management (25%)
? Develop, align and lead ExB Sourcing vendor development strategies and vendor reviews to achieve financial targets.
? Actively participate in portfolio line reviews and vendor quarterly business reviews (including preparation for and participation in meetings).
? Participate in Financial Reviews and Business Review Meetings with global ExB leadership.
? Escalate opportunities for growth to ExB Leadership.
3) Development of Function (15%)
? As this team develops, it will be the responsibility of this individual to help build the function and team. This individual will have to navigate the organization and work to build and establish the relationships and processes & standards for the future of this capability.
? Using a clear and comprehensive knowledge of the business, leads discussions with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of ExB goals.
? This position will build strong ties with cross-functional partners in multiple geographies to ensure this global capability is aligned and duplication of effort is eliminated. This will be new ground for a number of cross-functional partners and the relationship building and level of influence is critical to the development of the strategy.
4) Leadership (10%)
? A member of ExB Global Sourcing leadership team
? Remove barriers to enable team to perform effectively while coaching and developing individual team members.
? Ensure 100% adoption of and compliance with processes
? Act as day-to-day driver of ExB Sourcing strategy for assigned product categories.
? Ensure consistent communication of and execution according to company strategies
? Communication within team and to global ExB leadership
? Communication and relationship development with cross-functional partners across organization

Requirements:
? Bachelor Degree, major in Business, Advanced Degree is preferred.
? Minimum 12 years of relevant experience is required:
o 7+ yrs Sourcing/Procurement (with specific product knowledge in assigned category area)
o 5+ yrs Experience with Strategic Partner Relationship Mgmt and New Business Development
o 5+ yrs Product Development/Merchandising/Buying
o 3+ yrs Management/supervision of a team
? Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, inclusive of reading and writing.
? Experience in Supply Chain and strategic relationship management of all critical business and component supplier partners.
? Understanding of contractual responsibilities and assignment of risk.
? Experience with supply chain management, inclusive of manufacturers’ systems (i.e. MRP), supplier negotiation, and vendor management.
? Solid presentation skills with experience in giving presentations to executive leadership internally and externally.
? Strategic thinking ability and macro business perspective.
? Strong leadership and influencing skills.
? Comfortable with ambiguity and developing a plan with limited input.
? Willingness to work and communicate in a multiple time zone environment. 举报 分享
