Purchasing/Contracting activities under mandate from Procurement
? Guide the operational Buying / Purchasing process for purchases below the Buyer threshold:
o Guide the user throughout the Contracting process
? Select supplier for PR below the Buyer threshold as per country requriement:
o Identify potential suppliers
o If applicable, conduct bidding (RFI, RFP, RFQ) under PA threshold
o Negotiate contracts, optimize existing agreements (buy cheaper)
? Manage interactions with tactical/non-preferred suppliers
o Handle enquiries related to commercial matters
o Manage system changes
Purchasing Administration
? Ensure PR consistency versus contract
? Ensure PR process compliance as per company SOP, for example, Global Contract Policy, DOA, Sanctioned Party Lists Screening., etc
? Ensure category specific requirement and process are implemented, for example, mandatory suppliers, CAR (Consulting Authorization Requests) and reportable consulting agreements., etc
? Maintain signed contract in eBuy or eCAF as per country requirement
? Provide Customer Service- provide help to Key Users, Trained users
? Redirect Purchases to the appropriate vendor, reassign purchases to correct HACAT Code, refer to appropriate MSA, etc.
? Implement regional and business specific exceptions to the transaction processes as per country requirement
? Provide accurate and timely transaction execution, including new requests, change requests, cancellations and MSA’s
? Address eBuy limitations and rectify eBuy generated errors
Requirements
? University degree in supply chain, commercial or related field, with at least two years’ experience in purchasing operation, processes and systems
? Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong capacity to deal with external suppliers
? Excellent organizational and analytical skills with good supplier market insights
? Able to stick to companies processes and procedures and values, high integrity
? Proficient in MS office, experience with purchasing software
? Good written and spoken English
