Job Description Summary:
Works on the development of the medium term policy for his supply plannings sub discipline, and processes results into a supply planning vision/roadmap.
Distinctive is a high degree of original, out of the box thinking, needed to find solutions to the assignments.
Formulates new solutions by integral, original thinking and adds new supply planning concepts/elements to his sub discipline. Combines abstract ideas at a high conceptual level, and generates new types of supply planning solutions.
Formulates, as a recognized supply planning authority, solutions across multiple disciplines to effectively achieve goals together.
Builds actively networks with key contacts in- and outside Philips for his specialism to keep abreast of new supply planning developments/insights.
May lead multi-disciplinary supply planning change projects, managing a significant number of people.
Typically requires a Master’s degree with > 5 years of related experience in supply planning.

Job Description
1. Plan Finished Goods inventory level and make inventory distribution decisions in order to maximize sales order fulfillment, while meeting given inventory investment targets
2. Plan Raw Goods supply from vendors to Contract Manufacturers with focus on right quantities at the right time so that scheduling targets can be met with Just In Time goals 3. Manage Sales Order fulfillment logistics, including order releasing, booking, shipping, customs clearance, and shipment tracking
4. Manage Shipment transactions data entries in ERP systems so that shipping information can be maintained, and customer billing can be initiated
5. Supervise Warehouse activities to meet operation demands with optimal costs, while maintaining accurate inventory status
