Job Description:
This position provides a great opportunity to work on a variety of products and makes a visible contribution to Revenue growth. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
? Planning and flawless execution of product development and qualification. Responsible for package selection, wafer and sample fabrication, reliability test, failure analysis. Support the customer sample delivery, device release to production and production volume ramp-up.
? Plan new projects on IC product development from conceptualization to actual production release, drive a core project team composed of talented designers, marketing engineers, system engineers, application engineers, firmware engineers, test engineers and related individuals towards on-time release of new products.
? Own and drive project execution with defined the key milestones and customer requirements. Manage communication through face-to-face meetings, day-to-day interactions, or teleconferencing in a virtually global workplace. Pull-in various teams as needed and maintain, track and get closure on the action items. Publish progress reports to the project team and maintain information in a shared web-portal.
? Identify the critical risks in the project execution and come-up with mitigation plans to proactively avoid issues. Provide internal and external status reporting for the issues getting submitted versus resolved.
? Continuously provide technical support to market release and production sustaining for high volume devices.
Basic Qualifications:
? Familiar with semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly, electrical test, and reliability test and failure analysis knowledge.
? Strong competency in program management of a semiconductor IC development project, driving the internal teams and external contractors, clear and precise communication on actions, risks, overall project status and coordination and direct periodic interactions with the program and senior managers in product line are needed.
? Previous experience of program managing the projects in a semiconductor / electronics company.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
? Multitasking: Manage several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
? Very strong interpersonal skills particularly self–motivation, negotiation, listening, judgment, analytic ability, and conflict management skills.
? Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
? Proven execution capability. Ability to get things done within given timeframe and limited budget.
? Attitude towards learning and passion for work.
? Excellent presentation skill.
? Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be a great plus.
? Exposure to global / international customers would be an advantage, Analog Semiconductor IC development/MFG process experience will be a big plus
