Advanced Specialist Material Controlling

Corporate Division Controlling & Risk Management

Division, located in Shenyang/China

Employment – full time

Tasks

• Responsibility for material cost (local and import) target in the relevant projects within the standard controlling processes (LRP, Budget, Forecast)


• Ensure the correct material costs in contribution margin calculation, and with that in BBA P&L calculation, from target agreement before SOP until EOP


• Vehicle project specific material cost target setting and steering


• Provide transparency regarding material cost changes

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper material costs (target & plan) in BBA Long Range Plan aligned with product project business case


• Ensure target adjustment based on premises changes and management decisions within BBA LRP and Budget process


• Ensure plan update based on premises changes, management decisions and plan revaluations within BBA LRP and Budget process


• Ensure the transfer of LRP material cost to budget planning


• Vehicle project specific local material cost target setting and steering after SOP


• Providing transparency (reporting) for material costs within standard controlling processes (LRP, Budget, Forecast)


• Regular reporting process by actual and expected savings


• Creation and improvement of the logic process calculating cost savings result


• Calculation and report on savings by commodity groups and price change reasons


• Strategic analyses and preparation of management boards (BoM) and shareholder meetings (BoD)


• Price change and cost down analyses


• Material cost reports per model and per variant


• Support of definition, implementation and continuous improvement of process/methodology for local & import material cost planning and steering before and after SOP in standard controlling processes, BBA/BMW overarching


• Contribution to development and further improvement of material cost specific IT-solutions


• Other contingenttasks and projects assigned by line manager

Qualifications

• University Degree, graduated in Controlling/Finance/ Economics


• Knowledge of material costs / material cost controlling / purchasing


• Knowledge of product project controlling


• Knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)


• Experience in SAP R/3 FI and CO Modules


• Knowledge of standard controlling processes (LRP, Budget, Forecast)


• Experience in Process analysis, documentation and optimization


• Technical education and working background with manufactural production knowledge


• Communication on Management level


• Proficient English, German would be an advantage


• Social/intercultural skills


• Experience in Controlling/ work experience in producing industry, 4-6 Years


• Automotive background advantageous, 4-6 Years


• Purchasing background/ work experience advantageous, 4-6 Years
