Job description
The Materials Control Analyst will be responsible for retrieving, formatting, and analyzing all raw material and finished goods data by organizing, managing and communicating supplier inventory and reconciling against customer schedules. This position will track all aspects of the material logistics supply chain including, but not limited to: scheduling, monitoring daily production output, accumulating in-transit material data, and in house assembly numbers. This position will then review how current customer orders and/or customer pending orders and how they relate to overall on-hand inventory. The primary focus of this position will be to proactively manage this information to alert of any potential problems as it pertains to the company’s overall delivery schedules, thus making the company more Proactive versus Reactive on our customer’s needs.
The Materials Control Analyst will report directly to the US-Based Materials Control Manager, but will work closely with several other team members throughout all stages of materials flow systems; purchasing, warehouse, production, quality control and sales / customer service departments. Alerting the Materials Control Manager when levels reach critical levels and make recommendations to modify production schedules based of lead times, inventory level, sales demands, etc…The main focus of the position will be to manage data and help support the operations team and other cross functional teams manage and fulfill customer needs

Typical work activities
-Evaluate production / shipping schedules and liaise with other departments domestically and internationally to establish on hand available inventory as it relates to the organization’s sales / production plans.
-Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solution to challenges and obstacles
-Liaise with stock control, warehousing, and distribution activities influenced by or reliant on production schedules.
-Immediate alerts to failure in production and /or shipping schedules resulting in lack of product on hand to fulfill customer orders or planned production needs.
-Maintain and manage multiple data reports in a dynamic environment.
-Develop raw material analysis process and controls.
-Other activities as required.

Potential candidates will need to show evidence of the following:
-Must be fluent in Mandarin and English.
-Excel mastery is a must.
-Must have excellent analytical skills, especially as it pertains to proactively managing multiple data points and coordinating with others in order to meet our customer’s needs.
-Import / Export experience with tracking shipments and necessary paperwork.
-Good oral communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people (vendors, warehousing, sales, purchasing, quality control and senior-management).
-Precise and concise written communication skills.
-The ability to work well within a team.
-Maintain real time data on a daily basis to provide reports on production, deliveries, and on hand inventory.
-Organizational skills, such as time and resource planning.
-Strong project management skills.
Salary and conditions
-Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience.
-Proficiency in MS Excel.
-MRP System / Process knowledge is required. Knowledge in Platinum or Microsoft Dynamics a plus. 举报 分享
