Primary Responsibilities:
1.Serve as Project Leader on strategic new Product Development Projects, Reporting monthly in PDR meeting. Sets cost, quality, delivery and schedule targets of projects to ensure project success
2.Manage the Supplier Relationship; Manages, Measure, Evaluates and Reports Supplier performance metrics and scorecards
3.Collaborate on the Development and Implementation of Global Sourcing Strategies
4.Identify, assess, quote & develop potential suppliers into strategic partners who bring value and innovation to the Spectrum Brands HHI supply chain.
5.Negotiate pricing, contracts, tooling, rebates and payment terms with assigned suppliers
6.Work with suppliers in developing cost BOM & costing structure.
7.Drive cost and working capital improvements at suppliers
8.Execute credit notes, debt notes , tooling payment and other order/invoice/receipt document corrections
9.Drive annual productivity through value engineering improvement, process improvement & negotiations
10.Support Quality improvement activities
11.Work on-site with suppliers for expediting, monitoring & delivery recovery
12.30% & above travel required
Requirements:
1.Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree or above in business or technical field or equivalent experience
2.Minimum of 5~6 years combined Supplier Management, Global Sourcing, Commodity Management, Program/Project 3.Management, and/or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering experience required.
4.Proven negotiating and project leadership experience required.
5.Strong analytical skills required. International Business Experience required.
6.Plumbing industry knowledge and experience in plastic injection desired.
7.Experiences in working with global cross-function team desired.
8.Plumbing ceramic and general hardware related manufacturing processes experience desired (i.e. injection moulding, stamping, die casting, machining, plating, organic coatings, other finishing processes…etc.)
