职位描述：
ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Night-shift work（夜班采购）.不适应长期夜班工作者请勿投递.
2. Forecast the product’s standard cost at introduction. This is the MPM’s responsibilities. A NPI Buyer may need to forecast specific part cost as it is released to production,
3. Responsible for maintaining material master, info record and source list accuracy.
4. Analyze and evaluate quotations submitted directly or in response to bid requests to assure that quality, capability, and costs are satisfactory. Use SAP System to track all RFQ’s, relevant material and supplier material.
5. Uses the product specification to achieve best supplier selection, quality, cost and lead time. Contact via phone daily and meet with suppliers regularly to maintain good relationships and keep both Advanced Energy and suppliers informed about demand forecasts, payment issues, material availability, process capability, delivery commitments, cost, product specifications, quality specifications, and performance reports.
6. Manage and Maintain material master, info record and source list accuracy in SAP and other material related fields
7. Monitor and report supplier performance relative to delivery, NPI metrics performance. Maintain areas or conditions which could adversely affect the company's materials position in terms of OTD,velocity, supporting build plan. Also recommend and direct corrective actions.
8. Using MRP output, process purchase requisitions, generate and place purchase orders with suppliers. Follow up and expedite orders with suppliers issuing change orders, cancellations as required.
9. Aggressively seek and recommend cost savings possibilities based upon new sources, substitutions, improved systems or new items. Work with product development by providing them sample, spec., and pricing for their approval
10. Develop an in-depth knowledge of assigned commodities / suppliers, technologies, manufacturing processes, and related industries, including cost drivers, and /or price indicators to leverage across multiple manufacturing locations, and understand specific supply issues.
11. Educate suppliers to performance measurements, and the principles of continuous improvement.
12. Reviews Business Requirements Planning (BRP) Report and analyzes the suggested orders and for alterations to existing orders.
13. Assist other buyers as needed for training, or overflow requirements. Does not supervise the work of others.
14. Other duties as assigned.
