District Manager- Automotive, China

As a district manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to lead and coach a team to reframe the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.
Job Responsibilities
? Lead a sales team to grow Microchip business within a specified customer base, market or territory.
? Utilize Microchip’s Client Engagement Process to drive design wins to revenue at select target clients.
? Use insight and consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offer unique perspectives on their business, which link back to Microchip‘s solutions.
? Drive the company business relationship with the assigned clients.
? Identify the key client stakeholders and coach those stakeholders to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions within their organization.
? Contribute and participate within a global team e***ironment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across clients divisions and geographical locations.
? Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their i***estments in clients.

? Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
? 10+ years of work experience

? Coaching – Provides timely guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task, solve a problem or meet key accountabilities.
? Developing Employees - Planning and supporting the development of individuals' skills and abilities so that they can fulfill current or future job/role responsibilities more effectively.
? Communicating with Employees - Clearly co***eying information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages employees and helps them understand and take necessary action.
? Empowering Employees - Using appropriate delegation to create a sense of ownership of higher-level organizational issues and encouraging individuals to stretch beyond their current capabilities.
? Driving for Results - Sets high goals for personal and group accomplishment; using measurement methods to monitor progress toward goal attainment; tenaciously working to meet or exceed those goals while deriving satisfaction from the process of goal achievement and continuous improvement.
