职位描述：
General Summary:
Supervises merchandising team to ensure detailed follow through of order from selection, prototype, sampling and the production stage to actual shipment of finished goods and ensure that design, quality, quantity, price and delivery specification are fulfilled in accordance with an agreed time schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the merchandising activities for assigned product areas.
Directs costing strategy to support the overall sourcing plan. Facilitates major price negotiation with vendors at the component cost level.
Negotiates with factories on critical production details.
Leads the team to proactively identify potential risks and develop resolution strategies in conjunction with US Sourcing team, specifically to manage the expectations around price, quality and delivery.
Supervises a team of merchandisers and ensures order tracking activities to meet specifications and on-time delivery.
Educates vendors to adhere to company business Standard Operation Procedures.
Monitors supplier and factory performance.
Identifies, assesses and recommends new factories for inclusion to vendor matrix.
Evaluates vendor base for annual planning of product allocation.
Manages product integrity and ensure compliance with product standards.
Identifies trends in the market and provides input into the development process.
Develops and monitors seasonal production placement plan.
I***estigates diagnoses and gives recommendations to settle claims.
Evaluates trim and/or raw material suppliers to ensure effective product development, order placement and delivery.
Identifies and provides leadership for training team members

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Fluency in English (written and oral)
Excellent negotiation skills and written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a collaborative e***ironment
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Understanding of the manufacturing process and cost-drivers for all products within assigned areas

Work Experience &/or Education:
University degree preferred.
8 to 12 years experience in merchandising.
Experience working with overseas buyers and vendors.
