Job Duties:
Take ownership in the testing process and organize the review and analysis of appropriate documentation
Understand system functions and requirements for testing
Define and construct test e***ironments, test cases and test data
Manage and execute testing adhering to the test strategy and test scripts
Script for test automation
Track test progress
Produce high quality management information reporting (i.e., on testing progress, defects, coverage, etc.)
Ensure the delivery of systems to the live e***ironment meeting the agreed quality expectations.
Requirements:
1. University graduate with a degree in computer science or a related discipline.
2. 2 years or above IT working experience is preferred, while high potential candidates with less experience can also be considered.
3. Exposure to all stages of the software development life cycle and working knowledge of Test Management Methodology
4. Experience planning, designing, developing and executing test plans, suites and scripts for both automated and manual testing. Testing would include functional, non-functional, smoke tests, performance, regression, unit test, system test, integration test, and user acceptance testing
5. Ability to prioritize work and successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing technical e***ironment
6. Experience implementing testing processes/methodology in large, complex, diversified, global organizations – preferably in the Fi***ce & Banking industry e***ironment
7. Certification on ISTQB would be an added advantage
8. Experience in test automation tools (e.g., UFT, Selenium, LISA) and test management tools (e.g., QC) is required.
9. Experience in LoanIQ, DataStage interface testing, Cognos reporting, Java, IBM MQ, Control M would be an advantage.
10. Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills with a good command of spoken and written English.
11. Able to work under pressure and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and rapid learning capability.
12. Willing to work offshore and travel if required
