Main Duties:
-Sourcing: Serve as a liaison between the US Development office and our China sample rooms and assist with finding fabrics and other materials for special projects in a timely manner.
-Visit fabric markets and trade shows (Canton Fair) on a regular basis for new material and product inspiration.
-Work closely with our Production Controller to ensure items made in our China sample rooms are an exact match to production.
-Provide Development support to the US Development team by working directly with AA suppliers to help enforce our sample development requirements and ensuring sample deadlines are met.
-Occasionally attend customer meetings in our Hong Kong showroom.
-Provide support and assistance on location in sample rooms for special projects as needed.
Other Duties:
Handle the technical support tasks related to our Target Pet account, including:
-Requesting and submitting fabric swatches to Target’s Global Color Office. Track the status and ensure reports and swatches are available in time for necessary meetings.
-Work closely with Target’s China team to schedule the BAH (Business Award Handoff) and TPR (Target Production Readiness) meetings.
-Attend the BAH and TPR meetings as necessary.
-Compiling and completing the Technical Forms for each item (with assistance from the US office).
-Provide regular updates on product development status to Target’s China team.
-Work closely with AA suppliers to ensure Target sample deadlines are met.
-Assist with managing the Target Pet Development Calendar.
Position Requirements:
？ 1-3 years experience working in toy manufacturing
？ Proven experience in juggling multiple projects i***olving internal, remote and external resources.
？ Strong creative problem-solving skills.
？ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
？ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; process-minded.
？ Flexible / adaptable
？ Self-motivated, team player.
？ PC with Microsoft Office literacy, strong proficiency in Excel – a plus.
