This is a challenging role that oversees 7-Eleven South China FP&A function. This role will be in charge of fi***cial analysis team, stock take team, cash report team and project support. An important accountability of this role resides in fi***cial planning and analysis for both company level and store level and fi***cial support to projects initiated by other functional departments. There is a fair amount of energy and time devoted to develop talents and team capability. The role is considered as part of the succession plan for 7-Eleven South China Fi***ce Controller position.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead annual budgeting process and prepare annual budgeting package
2. Lead monthly actual performance analysis, indentify risks and opportunities, prepare monthly forecast
3. Lead monthly store performance review
4. Support new site fi***cial evaluation
5. Franchise profit sharing evaluation
6. Key fi***ce KPI checking
7. Fi***cial support to projects initiated by other functional departments and post i***estment / event evaluation
8. Prepare for i***estment proposals
9. Lead stock take team on store / DC i***entory and fixed asset count, result summary and variances analysis
10. Lead cash reporting team to control store level cash receipts and non-cash sales reporting
11. Continuously provide suggestion on efficiency improvement and maximizing return on i***estment
12. People and team capability development
Knowledge and Skills:
1. At least 10 years of working experience in Fi***ce & accounting with a minimum of 5 years' experience in FP&A and managing a team
2. Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and PRC GAAP)
3. Strong commercial sense
4. Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to balance a multiple priorities simultaneously with excellence
5. Excellent leadership, communication and team building skills
6. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams and resolve complex problems positively
7. Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical abilities, verbal and written communication skills
8. Ability to analyze fi***cial data and prepare reports and prepare business proposals.
9. Proficiency in Excel and hands-on working experience of SAP is a plus
