Position Scope/Objectives:

Work with designer team to review initial designs and structural design on plastic and wood parts according to headquarter drawing or samples from factory. Collaborate in development process to integrate and bridge design into production possibility. Confirm product integrity and manufacturability to meet cost requirements and reduce lead times. Interact with local suppliers to resolve product issues to meet production targets. Secure PP approved items are implemented into running production. Secure updated knowledge of suppliers’ material and technology capabilities to integrate and improve into production process.

Responsibilities:

1.Design structure on plastic and wood parts according to headquarter drawing or samples from factory.

2.Update and adjust 3D models and 2D drawings on plastic and wood parts and ensure highly accurate drawing and item species are secured from approved PP to productions.

3.Work with suppliers and co-worker to drive and finalize mechanical design, process improvements.

4.Analyze products for structural, manufacturability, process quality and cost efficiency, provide technical support to purchasing, production and quality team.

5.Collaborate with headquarters business team and China suppliers to solve design issues, achieve cost and quality targets. Incorporate production capabilities of suppliers.

6.Prepare review for new product development projects and provide technical support.

7.Support quality manager to maintain the quality system.

8.Oversee, manage and communicate progress on project management, manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments.

9.Ensure product safety and regulatory requirements can be reached during development and secured during production.

10.Understand and secure KK materials and products standards are aligned in development and production.

11.Utilize QC reports to identify problems with design and production.

Qualifications:

1.College graduate or above.

2.Mechanical design and manufacture, Mechanical Electronic Engineering or other related discipline.

3.Minimum 4 years working experience in production development field.

4.Familiar with plastic and/or wood production process and materials.

5.Having knowledges about electronic products is a plus

Competencies:

1.Self-organized and responsive.

2.Strong spirit of teamwork.

3.Good communication and interpersonal skills.

4.Good commercial experience of dealing with suppliers, a hands-on approach to development work and problem solving.

5.Ability and interest to understand material and production development.

Communication Level and Computer Literacy:

1.Good command of English both in written and verbal.

2.Proficient on Microsoft Office like Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook.

3.Proficient on Solidworks/Auto CAD.
