POSITION SUMMARY
Fully responsible for the planning, selection, reporting of recruiting strategies and activities, plus the completion of department and companywide projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for recruiting, screening and selection of new employees using a variety of methods at minimal cost and resulting in low turnover. Conducts up to 10 interviews per day during the busy season.
Meets with hiring managers to strategize recruiting and determine exact qualifications required for "best fit" for position openings to ensure quality hiring. Reviews applicants and makes a hiring decision and offer proposal based on the candidates' experience and skills. Trains hiring managers on hiring techniques, necessary adjustment, and legal issues regarding hiring practices.
Assists in the planning for recruiting and hiring system data maintain including summary reporting, audit, advertising, recruiting staff scheduling, and determining cost per hire statistics. Strives to build relationships with key individuals and organizations in the community as recruiting sources.
Responsible for coordinating the selection process for all openings. This includes: posting opening notices, application administration, candidate screening, candidate notification, interview scheduling, interviewing, and meeting with supervisors on selection decision.
Assists with a variety of companywide projects, including campus recruiting, applicant tracking, department audit, diversity projects, Job Enrichment Training, and other duties as assigned.
Have the opportunity to grow as a HR generalist or HRBP in the future.
DISTINCTIVE REQUIREMENTS
5 years of recruiting and interviewing experience
Hard working, proactive, result oriented, teamwork, careful, easy-going, can work under pressure
Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese
BA - 4 year degree, good learning attitude and skills
Computer/office software experience is a must
Communication engineering background and industry experience will be a plus
