Basic Function of the Job:
This position exists to support the design, full deployment, and continuous improvement of II-VI’s new HRMS throughout the global II-VI organization, ensuring “Common, Simple and Global” solutions operate in support of a dynamic and ever changing employee population and world-class HR and Payroll processes.
This position will serve as a technical point-of-contact to assist subject matter experts in ensuring data integrity, on-going HRMS configuration/development, testing, design and building of reports and auditing HR processes and data to pro-actively mitigate or eliminate risks and issues ensuring an accurate global database of record. This position also supports HRMS upgrades/patches, legal changes, organizational restructuring, yearly processes and other applicable changes. Provide support to HR end users to investigate and resolve questions and issues with the HRMS system.
This position will support integration and data transfers between the HRMS, global payroll, time and attendance systems, external vendors and other related systems. This role will also be responsible to create/update system documentation and process flows, user procedures and upkeep standard operating procedures for our global HRMS team.
The position includes project management support for both the HR and Payroll teams and upkeep of related data integrations and any applicable testing between systems.
The position will operate consistent with HR and IT policies, practices and controls and in a manner that reflects the worldwide values of II-VI.
Job Requirements:
Education: ? Preferred BS in information technology or application security and HR experience required
Experience: ? Five (5) years of experience with a global HRMS environment or applicable
Special Skills:
? Prior meaningful experience with Oracle’ cloud solutions or other HRMS including implementation (preferably global), reporting/queries, system maintenance, security roles, issue resolution, and administrator/end-user training
? Understanding of global/regional HR process localizations
? Ability to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities
? Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross cultural, global team environment
? Handle special assignments promptly and professionally
? Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency
? Demonstrates and promotes the II-VI Worldwide values: Customer First; Honesty and Integrity, Open Communications, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement and Learning; Manage by the “Facts”; A Safe, Clean and Orderly Workplace
