Description and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a person to join a design team to execute a state-of-the-art IC design project in the wireless communication field. Candidate must be familiar with digital IC design flow with a proven record of design and verification of a complex design project that led to successful silicon. Proficiency in Verilog is required.

Requirements:

Experience in the following areas of expertise is desired:

? Data-flow architectures

? Single-carrier and OFDM-based Wireless LAN

? Smart antenna array techniques

? Digital Signal Processing, such as FFT, filtering

? Error correcting coding and decoding

? Multimedia data processing

? Micro-architecture, design and verification

? Co-simulation/verification with wireless algorithm development

Experience in the following as well is beneficial but not required:

? FPGA design flow, testing and emulation

? Communication systems and RF systems

? Experience with Matlab / Simulink

? Familiarity with wireless communication systems and standards (802.11b/g/n, WiGig, and WirelessHD)

? Knowledge of media access control (MAC) for wireless or wired networks

Other requirements:

? Familiar with design and verification languages, EDA tools and ASIC/SOC design methodology

? Good script language skill, such as Perl, Tcl and Shell;

? Good written and oral communication skills in English;

? Good Team player

Candidates must have MSEE degree with at least 5 years of experience or Ph.D. in EE with related experience.
