General Responsibilities:
This position is for senior QA engineer to test Linksys/Belkin products like wireless router, wireless range extender, wireless adapters, and other home networking products. The candidate is preferred to have the capability to create test plans, test tools and develop automation test to improve the test frame work and system.
Specific Responsibilities:
? Work as a Senior QA Engineer for firmware and software testing on wireless router, wireless range extenders, and other home networking, service provider products.
? Write and execute test cases from product requirements
? Design, develop, and deliver automation workflows and content.
? Generate and execute test plans for products. Optimize test procedures.
? Maintain and follow up defects logged in all system components.
? Work with third party vendors for issue debugging and tracking.
Education and Experience Requirements
? Solid knowledge on WiFi networking and home networking. Experience with a set of the following protocols: DHCP, PPPoE, TCP, VLAN, HTTP, IPv6, TR069, etc.
? Strong knowledge and experience in programming on Windows .NET framework. Development experience with C# is highly preferred.
? Strong experience in automation test. Experience in GUI automation test is a plus.
? B.S/M.S in Computer Science or equivalent.
? At least 4 years of technical experience in the workforce.
? Ability to write scripts, understanding of any script language: Tcl/Python/Ruby, etc.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
? Highly motivated team player that forms strong relationships with colleagues and has good interpersonal skills
