GoPro is seeking a top tier candidate for the Freelance Designer, Channel Marketing position. The position will collaborate with the Sr. Designer on design of all retail materials and experiences. The Designer will work with channel marketing team, creative director and the brand team on presenting new concepts and solutions to the management of all new project roll-outs. This includes sales kits and tools, in-store marketing materials, window signage, custom POPs, corrugate displays, in-store retail experiences, educational training materials online and offline, PowerPoint decks, sales sheets and product launch materials. This position is critical in ensuring brand consistency in the retail space globally. The ideal candidate must have a strong sense of concept development, communication, research, presentation and problem solving skills.
 
 
What You Will Do
Support and design channel design program to establish good partnerships and brand building in the retail space

Attend Press checks, retailer meetings and site visits

Collaborate with designers other functional teams to ensure content is accurate and consistent

Collaborate with Channel Marketing and other internal teams to ensure information and other required info is accurate and on scope

Work with project and traffic managers to manage timelines and produce projects in timely manner

Ectively support channel projects from graphic designers, copywriters, production artists, translators, etc.

 
 
Skills We're Stoked About
2+ years of experience in graphic design + retail design at an ad agency, graphic design firm or industry related company

Proficiency in design software

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and 3D rendering programs

Strong presentation skills

Ability to produce 3D renderings

Strong creative portfolio

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Ability to lead a project from concept to completion

Strong communication skills and the proven ability to meet deadlines

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and visually

College degree preferred

Able to work with us in the Shanghai office Mon-Friday (9-6 pm)
