Responsibilities ：
* Provide direction and advise on best practices and trends regarding solutions that support strategic sourcing. Drive standardization of sourcing, purchasing best practices, processes and procedures.
* Lead and manage the new product development especially for baby gifts sourcing process for procurement to achieve company new product introduction goals.
* Accountable for tracking and monitoring of product development status, costs, sourcing with preferred suppliers, timely adherence to product schedules, and coordinating supplier sourcing activities with the product development and purchasing group.
* Build supply chain designs and partner with suppliers to enable business segment growth that drive results in company revenue and margin while minimizing supply chain risk.
* Develop strong working relationships with US sourcing and product development department and suppliers, conduct timely reviews to measure performance against expectations.
* Drive results in managing NPD critical path issues. Create new product sourcing development charts at the start of each launch and maintain this chart through the development process.
* Solid understanding of Chinese products exporting regulation, document and process requirement. Comfortable to work with the Chinese customs and freight forwarders etc.
* Product construction and raw material familiarity to support specific product category (i.e. infant clothing, plush toys, ceramic, kitchenware etc.)
* Quality assurance methodologies, product and package testing requirements, product quality resolution.
* Drives continuous improvement in all aspects of the new product sourcing procurement process.
* Understands and analyzes international trade law, duties, and tariffs as relate to our business.

Requirements/Qualifications：
* Minimum of 6-8 years of new product sourcing for a children apparel or gift retailer, wholesaler or manufacturer with steady progression to positions of increased responsibility.
* Minimum of 6-8 years of direct importing/exporting experiences in consumer goods with an import/export company or impt/expt division of a large manufacture.
* Experience in sourcing consumer products or gifts with a wide range of SKU is a big plus.
* Must have a successful track record for new product development and sourcing in China.
* Proactive thinker, problem solver and decision-making skills. Results and process driven.
* Knowledge of industry standards on home and baby gifts, print reading.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational project and time management skills.
* Fluent in both Chinese and English and excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

We’re rapidly growing our baby gift business and are looking for a Sourcing Manager to be in charge of our Southern China operations with a focus on baby gifts.
