MaxLinear is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to join our growing team in China. In this role, you will support a range of communication IC’s related to the home networking and access (MoCa and G.Hn). You will use their technical expertise, interpersonal and communication skills to work with customers to increase MaxLinear’s business.

? Work with MaxLinear Sales, Marketing and Systems Engineering to secure design wins at key customers and strengthen relationships between customer’s engineers and MaxLinear.
? Work directly with key customer engineers to:
o Promote MaxLinear’s products and technology advantages.
o Qualify the technical feasibility of new programs.
o Communicate, review and clarify product specifications and application circuit requirements.
o Review component selection, schematics and layout files to ensure customer first pass success and quick time to market.
o Bring up, debug and test customer’s boards and track support issues with MaxLinear Systems Engineering.
o Provide field trial support.
? Gather information from customers and the market to support Sales and Marketing:

QUALIFICATIONS:
(Provide required and desired qualifications. Include skills, experience and education. Indicate Required (“R”) and Desired (“D”) by each qualification.)

? Solid technical background, with understanding and hands-on experience in HW/SW development/debugging.
? Strong knowledge of RF, Mixed Signal, and Digital Communications concepts
? Related working experience in network communications.
? Skilled in using Linux OS commands and the ability to write scripts.
? Familiar with network interfaces and protocols.
? Familiar to use Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator and Traffic Generator etc.
? Have the skill on using ADS software to do RF circuit simulation and filter design
? Experience on cable modem, EOC, router and Gateway are preferred.
? Experience on MoCA/G.Hn are preferred.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to manage both technical and business related challenges with customers 举报 分享
