Responsibilites:
1.Develop short and long term industry strategic plan to support the annual and long term goals of the company. Develop and drive the marketing plan for the business unit. Determine market segmentation, customer values, purchase behavior and positioning. Develop Southco Value proposition, product and service offerings, communication, channel, and pricing plans in concert with Product Marketing, MarCom and the SBU.
2.Provide information and direction in opportunities and programs which maximize customer needs and the objectives of the business for the targeted industries. Utilize market information and perform necessary analysis to make recommendations to the business units to adjust strategies and product offerings.
3. Monitor and conduct industry/market researches on targeted industries information, determine trends, industry needs, customer preferences, industry brand awareness, product development and ultimately, the launch of new products. Share information within the business unit and the matrix as appropriate.
4. Collaborate with sales force to design strategies for developing the business unit sales and team; including training, performance incentives, goal setting, distribution issues, etc. Support SBU distribution partners to develop effective campaigns and product initiatives. Identify attractive local Asian market lead generation and market opportunities.
5. Work closely with Product Management and Marcom team to develop and execute specific industry marketing campaigns, sales tools or demo units to targeted audience and track their effectiveness. Participate and provide industry support to all major marketing events, such as exhibitions, seminars etc.
6. Develop and maintain technical awareness of: a) Southco products and capabilities from application to operations, b) competitive products, business trends and capabilities, c) changes in policies, procedures and product offerings. Maintain professional alliances through associations, education, trade shows and media.
7. Maintain and update an industry database and customer/application knowledge base for all the targeted industries with industry growth rate, trends, associations, trade magazines, applications, photos, websites, potential customers etc ,
8. Maintain and update a competition database with competitors information, literature and documentation, product specification, performance and pricing comparison for different industries etc
9. Maintain a regular communication with the business units and Global industry marketing team for industry updates and communicate to sales and marketing people in the region.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in engineering
2. At least 8 years’ working experiences in industrial products management, marketing, sales, or engineering.
3. Solid customers management relationship and problem solving capability. Excellent teamwork spirit and good communications skill, computer literature particularly in Powerpoint.
4. Past experiences in working in MNC preferred. Asia Pacific regional exposures is a plus.
5. Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Good Mandarin is required.
6. Strong interaction skills, result oriented and positive attitude
