We are looking for merchandisers in Nanshan, Shenzhen, to join our rapidly growing team of e-commerce and manufacturing experts. The successful candidate will have fantastic interpersonal and reasoning skills, be highly resourceful and independent, as well as having a passion for quality in every aspect of their life. Daily duties including understanding project needs and carrying out strategic sourcing tasks in a highly organized and value-adding manner. As well as finding new products and suppliers you will take ownership of supplier development, purchase order tracking, problem solving, logistics and contractual documentation. Product categories include consumer electronics, household, beauty and musical instruments.

Responsibilities include:

Supplier / product sourcing
PO management, ensuring total visibility and on-time delivery
Understanding and communicating specifications, customer needs
Finding new supply opportunities that may be hidden
Checking and entering RFQ (Request for quote)
Evaluating suppliers, including on-site audit
Testing and analyzing product samples
Logistics quotation, booking and management
Management of certifications
Full lifecycle project management
Problem solving
Negotiation, contracts

The successful candidate will be required to travel up to 20% of the time, mostly in / near Shenzhen but also to other provinces.

Minimum requirements:

English level CET6 min (TEM8 preferred)
Chinese (mandarin) spoken fluency
Relevant experience such as sourcing, purchasing, supplier audit, sample inspection, engineering etc

Preferred:

Degree in related subject (international trade etc)
Experience in foreign company or working overseas
Studied overseas
Strong interest in foreign culture and management styles
Engineering or manufacturing background
