Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist in overseeing the first samples of each poly resin (bobble heads) factory direct.
2. Support BDA US and China team in handling product costing evaluation.
3. Evaluate bill of materials (BOM) based on the material and component specifications.
4. Have good understanding in calculating factory labor costs, overhead costs and profit margins.
5. Develop and implement sourcing strategies and seek new sources at materials, components and finished goods.
6. 80 – 100% travel to factories during peak season, located in Guangdong and Fujian working with each Sculptor on first time artwork and/or any revisions.

Job Skill & Experience Requirements
1. Over 7+ years experience in handling costing analysis and breakdowns for figurines, bobbles, trophies. Poly resin experience a must.2. Must understand 3D products, poly resin sculpting and interpreting a technical specification into action figures. Facial expression is a key.
3. Guide and translate industry artisans on sculpting small or large action figures.
4. Over 5+ years experience in: POP display enhancers, countertop displays, print, floor mats, thematic products, inflatables, in-store structures.
5. Costing analysis is a plus.
6. University degree in engineering science or related fields.
7. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
8. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers.
9. Expertise in cost engineering and able to change component parts to meet target.
10. Experience in working with small stores to mass market.
