Job Description:
? Drive a complete understanding of Flextronics capabilities in FPCA, PCBA, Display and RF technologies throughout the HVS Engineering group and Customer Base.
? Understand completely all of Flextronics EE support and new technology developments.
? Provide Electrical Systems level R&D, DFx and Technical Support as needed for developing products, NPI and current products as needed.
? Assist in technical training as required
? Oversee engineering functions of the concept & development phases of a structured product development process for electrical systems and components.
? Trouble-shoot and solve technically complex EE design problems
? Technical support of business development activities for Flextronics High Velocity Solutions group.
? Communicate customer product trends and associated future requirements with internal technology and development functions to drive innovation and value-add capabilities for Flextronics.

Job Requirements:
? BS Degree in Electronics or equivilent; Advanced technical degree preferred; 8+ years of relevant product development or engineering experience
? Strong independent planning & customer interface skills
? Advanced training and experience with various technologies (RF, EMI, FPC & FPCA, etc.)
? Strong working knowledge of electronics assemblies and electronics encapsulation a plus.
? Strong working knowledge of electronics manufacturing.
? Communications skills must include:
? Verbal skills to communicate interpreted needs for design change, testing results, mold performance, molding results to design enigneers with various engineering backgrounds both internally and externally
? Written skills for various types of reporting including but not limited to: Data Collection/Process Control, Process Capability Studies, Quality Reporting per FSD, cGMP and/or ISO standards, Forecasting, Volume Projections, Actual vs. Predicted Production Performance and Quoting
