职位描述：
1. Actively participates in NPI development phases i.e. EVT, DVT, PVT working hand in hand with Mechanical Commodity manager and mechanical parts suppliers.

2. Address design and manufacturing quality related issues discovered during NPI and Mass Production Phases. Interact with Supplier Component, Tooling and Process, Product Quality, Development and Operations Engineering to address Process / Product / Vendor issues discovered during the NPI / MP phases with goal of immediate resolution of issues. Leads root cause analysis and provides updates to management and peers.

3. Escalates Issues related issues at mechanical component supplier discovered during NPI or Mass production towards rapid resolution and corrective action. Uses necessary quality reporting tools to capture, update and track issues.

4. Ensures that specific tolerance and cosmetic requirements at product and key component are communicated to vendor and reflected in vendor’s control plans to ensure full cosmetic and tolerance compliance. Facilitates vendor feedback to HQ.

5. Drives development and delivery of PFMEA, Control Plan, Incoming Quality Plan, Outgoing Quality Plan for products and related components arriving at vendor in coordination with tooling, component and product quality teams.

6. Aligns IQC and OQC plans and measurement techniques.

7. Validates that Critical to process characteristics / dimensions critical to final sub-assembly and final product are measured and reported accurately. Ensures that Cp, Cpk data is collected and reported properly as applicable in collaboration with Design / Optical Engineering, Product Quality, Operations and Engineering.

8. Reviews first pass and final yield data collected and reported during NPI and Mass Production. Ensures and validates that vendor processes are capable of achieving yield targets set for NPI (1st pass yields). Drives yield improvements.

9. In sustaining mode, facilitates resolution of all vendor related quality issues related to the projects / products. 举报 分享
