POSITION SUMMARY

ENI JR286 is the exclusive licensee for Nike branded sporting goods accessories globally. Our products currently include sporting goods accessories. We are a highly successful small business in the accessories industry with a vision to become the premier accessories company in the sporting goods industry. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fulfill the role of Production Lead for our location in Dongguan, China. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fulfill the role of Senior Product Developer for our location in China. The successful candidate will provide business expertise in product development.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary product developer for hard goods in the sporting goods industry
• Liaison between corporate office and factories
• Assist in maintaining department reports:
• Product specifications
• BOM
• Project Tracker
• Capture and report sample process comments
• SMS Fabric Projections
• Margin product trackers
• Shipping Information
• Day to Day Development Process for In-Line and SMU Products.
• Secondary lead to senior developer on Technically Difficult Product Categories.

• Primary Lead Developer on Easier Product Categories.

• Communication Management between USA and China
• Raw Material Expertise
• Sample Evaluations & Comments
• Product specification review and communication
• Sourcing materials, components and manufacturing processes
• Packaging Follow[i]-up & Development
• Manufacturing knowledge expertise
• Sample Management
• Cost management and Negotiations
• Project Placement
• Extensive Internal & External Email Communication and Follow-Up
• Manage Brand Rule Compliance
• Weekly Meetings with Departments and Cross Functional Partners
• Travel to factories across Asia required
• Exercise independent judgment and take initiative to drive business results.
• Assist in managing obsolete and excess inventory

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

• BS in Engineering or business management required
• 3-7 years recent experience in a large-scale hard goods manufacturing environment in the sporting goods industry
• Computer Proficiency, email, spread sheets, word
• Know Adobe Illustrator Software program.
• Must be decisive - confident
• Excellent written and verbal communication ability with superior people skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment and lead a team to maximize their potential

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

· 3-7 years work industry experience in product development, sporting goods accessories is a plus.

· Team player that has the ability to multi-task and thrives in a fast paced environment.

· Ability to communicate effectively in English, in writing and orally.

· Ability to understand organizations strategic direction and translate and execute tactically.

· Good analytical skills; with the ability to look at numbers and draw conclusions about actions to be taken.

· Ability to locate and analyze data from a variety of sources to ensure that operational decisions are made based upon the most accurate information.

• Computer literate, with good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications and email.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to attend to multiple concurrent tasks.
• Commitment to meeting absolute deadlines.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently, with minimal day-to-day supervision.
• Keep leadership chain-of-command informed on all operational activities as required.
• Interpersonal skills suited to dealing courteously and professionally with external business contacts and internal contacts within the organization.
