SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Control Tower strategy
? Design and develop the Control Tower strategy in accordance with the customer’s expectations and requirements.
? Define new CT functions/tools to be used and ensure its objectives are achieved by the entire Control Tower team
2. Monitor and animate CT network
? Organize with local CT monthly Business Review: Volume, KPI, Pending Issue, Achievement, Payment situation.
? Drive regular workshop/meeting/conference call for implementation of a new process, to review performance, to gather all parties involved in issue together.
3. Performance management
A. Bollore performance
? Analyze performance per region, per country and alert KAM & Global Control Tower Supervisor and local management of any business failure.
? Drive action plan with local CT, regional management any frequent or major failure identify.
? Organize CT audit with local CT in order to identify process misunderstood or not achieve at local level.
? Publish performance on frequent basis by email and through Planet portal.
? Assist KAM & Global Control Tower Supervisor in preparing QBR material.
? Collect data (KPI, pending issue,…) detail below in section 7 report from all local CT, all CT origins and consolidate data in global report.
B. CT performance
? Drive action plan with local CT and regional management Monitor CT team
? Tasks achievements.
? Design with Regional CT tools to monitor local CT performance (Internal KPI).
? Coordinate with local CT, the CT audit and analyze result to define action plan
? to set up.
? Collect appraisal/feedback from customer’s station on Bollore service quality (CT +
? Operation). Liaise with KAM, Global Control Tower Supervisor and regional CT, local management to define action plan.
? Identify success, achievement, accomplished which can be shared and adopted in
? other countries, regions (Best practice sharing)
C. Carrier and sub-contractor performance
? Review with origin CT, the carrier performance on established routes, identify weak lanes. Transmit information to purchase department.
? Design tools with origin CT to measure carrier performance
4. Business implementation
? Participate at regional and local CT training program
? Follow-up new business set up with implementation manager
? Drive CT audit with regional CT after recent CT implementation
5. Continuous Improvement
? Collect from Huawei and other final users (CT & management) their expectations and improvement suggestions about Bollore IT supply chain solution.
? Liaise with IT business solution department to generate analyze report from TMS database (KPI, carriers performance, truck company,…).
? Follow up IT tools development and implementation.
? For Major IT business solution department will be in charge of major IT project (EDI, TMS and WMS, etc…).
6. Maintenance of E2E library, CT reports, Planet portal
? Update and publish Risk tools: Breaking newsletter, Risk calendar, etc…
? Collect Freight and Logistics market analysis to be shared with customers.
? Store and update key documents: CT definition, CT manual, CT job description, TO DO list, CT and operational SOP, directory, IT system user guide.
? Update CT pending issue list .
? Update the collaborative portal daily (KPI report, breaking newsletter, documents, SOP, project implementation,…)
7. Monitoring and data consolidation
A. KPI
? Collect from local CT, weekly, monthly and quarter KPI reports consolidated at regional level.
? Monitor data quality and respect of deadline publication.
? Consolidate International Transport and destination reports.
? Analyze KPI reports, highlight good and low performance.
? Request local CT to drive investigation for major operational failure.
? Inform KAM & Global Control Tower Supervisor of major failure.
B. Risk management
? Collect Risk calendar from local CT, the origin CT and gateway contact on quarter basis.
? Consolidate risk calendar from the local CT, the origin CT and gateway contact (CDG, etc…) in one master Risk calendar.
? Identify major risk and suggest Huawei SZX a contingency plan for International Transport.
C. Issue management
? Consolidate Pending Issue from Planet portal and report it into Bollore Pending Issue list.
? Inform KAM and Global Control Tower Supervisor of major Issues progress.
? To pass on Bollore Pending Issue list to Huawei Global supply chain manager
D. Payment Management
? Collect latest Payment situation (Overdue, reason of frequent invoice rejection: Invoice error, missing attached documentation,…)
8. Other tasks assigned by direct manager.
BASIC SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor Degree or above
? Good interpersonal skills, commitment to customer service and quality improvement
? Team Player and possess good analytical ability
? Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills & good command of English
? Proficient with office software
