职位描述：
Overall Position Purpose/Scope As a Logistics Operations Analyst, you will be part of Global Logistics team, based in Shanghai.

- The main responsibilities of this position is to monitor the operations from Asia to specific trade lane as well as the space management.

Background :

Global Logistics team was set up 11 year ago. This team is responsible for ocean carrier contract negotiation, global air & courier service management, as well as any other premium transportation mode, etc. The team in Shanghai is to support sourcing of components, finished products and tooling in and out of Asia region, including monitoring operations and 3PL, provide landed cost analysis for group, etc.


Main responsibilities
During the internship, the main areas of responsibility will be the following:
To provide basic operations support for shipments from Asia to specific trade lane(s).
Working tasks:
？ CY containers movements
？ LCL movement
？ 3PL management

Space management for Asia to specific trade lane(s).

Working tasks:

？ Collecting 8 weeks’ rolling forecasts from related sales divisions/booking agents/suppliers, etc.
？ Prepare 4 weeks’ master forecasts to carriers.
？ Based on the fixed allocation as well as carriers’ confirmation, distribute the space to related sales divisions/booking agents/suppliers, etc.
？ Coordinate space issues with ocean contract manager.
？ Collect allocation vs. booking vs. shipment data in order to keep monitoring of actual allocation.

Reporting

？ - To provide master database for Asia to specific trade lane(s) ;
？ - To provide weekly booking vs. forecast for management review.

Pricing

？ - To support Contract Manager for adhoc rate requests to ocean carriers.

Project outcome(s)/
End product(s) - Standardize logistics set up
– using Electrolux nominated service providers, e.g. carriers, LCL providers, booking agents, etc.
- Support to Electrolux APO, Electrolux pilot teams, factories for shipments in and out of Asia region.
- Space allocation ex. Asia region and avoid shipment delay.

Desired candidate profile

Educational qualifications/ Academic background
Academic background (preferred) :

- Industrial Management, Business Administration and Logistics management are preferred
- Knowledge about Project Management
- Knowledge about logistics and shipping are preferred
- bachelor degree is a must
